HUGO is taking shape!
HUGO is taking shape! This week we have moved from sketching on paper to solidworks.
The current idea is that HUGO can carry several packages at once. Each package being stored in an individual modular compartment which can vary in size depending on the dimensions of the package. We are counting with that an average package will contain a pair of pants + a shirt, alternatively a pair of shoes not exceeding 3kg. Each compartment will function as a drawer that only opens when it if filled or emptied by the sender or recipient. The robot and drawers are tilted by design, making access easy for sender and recipient.
The robot will have few features on the outside. For example interaction with HUGO will happen digitally. We want HUGO to have a friendly impression, that fits in a urban neighbourhood environment.
